Zero Gravity
DeVante Parker's best asset as a wide receiver has always been his ability to play above the rim. A three-sport athlete in high school, Parker played basketball, football, and ran track. In Parker's mind, that is what shaped him as a football player. Catching a football in contested catch situations is now no different than grabbing a rebound in basketball.
That's the outlook that has kept him in the league past his rookie contract, something very few people can say they've accomplished. Despite injury concerns that have lingered throughout his career, Parker is always confident that, if nothing else, he'll always come down with the jump ball over those smaller defenders.
