Houston Looking To Give Alperen Sengun More Minutes

ALPEREN SENGÜN

Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun could see more work this season, according to ESPN NBA insider Tim MacMahon. The Rockets dealt Christian Wood to Dallas, so it’s evident the team has plenty of faith that the 19-year-old can hold down things in the middle moving ahead. Despite logging only 20.7 minutes per game, Sengun made the most of his time on the floor during his inaugural season, finishing with averages of 9.6 points, 5.5 boards, and 2.6 assists. He may substantially increase his production in 2022-23, although his shoddy shooting percentages need to improve for category managers to benefit fully from his presence on their rosters.
