Kendrick Nunn Accepts Player Option

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kendrick Nunn defends Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kendrick Nunn has decided to accept his $5.25 million player option for next season. This doesn’t come as a surprise after Nunn missed all of the 2021-2022 campaign due to a right knee bone bruise. However, Nunn averaged 14.9 points and 2.1 triples in his first two seasons with the Miami Heat. The upside is there, but Nunn needs to be able to stay on the court. The Lakers heavily struggled on offense last season, so hopefully Nunn can be a nice boost next season.
