Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal (wrist) hasn’t played for any other club throughout his career. He’s also repeatedly expressed his desire to remain in D.C. moving ahead, consistently squashing trade rumors over the years. However, with the veteran due to hit free agency this summer, there’s still a chance he may find a new home for the 2022-23 campaign. The Blazers have reportedly emerged as a team interested in acquiring his services, especially since the franchise is looking for another superstar to pair with Damian Lillard. Yet, since Beal can make more money by agreeing to a new contract with the Wizards, a sign-and-trade may be the only logical way to bring him to Portland. Nonetheless, Beal, who underwent wrist surgery in February, should continue to be an effective fantasy option for years to come, although his inability to stay healthy has been an issue.
